Andrea Berman Price is a Washington, D.C.based project manager in public health and health care. She holds a BA in anthropology with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an EdM from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
She was shown how to knit at four by her mother and taught to knit and crochet at six by her grandmother Sophie, but crochet was easier to manage. At about sixteen, she secreted her mother’s needles out of the house and re-learned what Sophie had taught her, knitting her way through college, graduate school, life’s car trips, train rides, transatlantic flights, and now through crises both personal and global, and a pandemic.
